Searching for Pretty Fonts

I'm setting the foundation in place for the Baan View Photography brand etc. Everything looks great, but my logo seems to be missing a beautiful font. So, I'm searching online. I'm so excited. Everyday it gets better and better.

Surprise Party Snapshots

Here are a few family snapshots from a surprise party for Kristin's mom at my house a couple weeks ago.

It's hard to edit when there are so many good ones.

Newborn Photos

These are photos from baby Ethan's newborn portrait session from this past weekend. Isn't he so sweet.

I brought this large picnic basket on a whim that he might look cute inside it on a door step. I totally underestimated its cuteness factor.

Kids Birthday Party

These are just a few cute photos from my daughter's little friend's birthday party.

A New Day

Hello and thank you for stopping by. You can visit me here weekly to see what I'm working on. This week, I'm scheduled to photograph a variety of different subjects ranging from food, yoga, sukkahs and families to a wedding. It should be interesting.

Thursday, I will be heading over to Slade's Gifts at Orchard Mall in West Bloomfield. Then, it's Karma Yoga in Bloomfield Twp. My last stop of the day will be photographing a group home for a story on the 40th anniversary of JARC.

Friday, my first stop is Pete's Place in Ferndale to shoot some food. Pending scheduling, the rest of the day I will be photographing Elias of Hansens for a business story and a couple families building sukkahs.

I won't be able to publish any of the photos until after the articles are published, but stay tuned for my personal work. I'm shooting a wedding on Saturday and I can't wait. The ceremony and reception are taking place at The Colony Club in downtown Detroit, my favorite backdrop for any kind of photography.

Look for new portfolio images on my website this week and become a fan of Baan View Photography on facebook.
